
Erwan Le Pennec has been a professor in the Applied Mathematics Department at École polytechnique since September 2013. His research is carried out at the Centre de Mathématiques Appliquées (CMAP).
He works on data-related problems in signal processing, statistics and learning, with a taste for applications.
He is co-director with Emmanuel Gobet of the SIMPAS (Signal IMage Probabibilités numériques et Apprentissage Statistique) team, and is involved in a number of training programs run by the school: MSc&T Data Science for Business and the Data Science Starter Program of Polytechnique Executive Education.
