
Pierre Boyer is a Full Professor of Economics at École polytechnique – CREST (Center for Research in Economics and Statistics).
He is Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Deputy director of the Institut des Politiques Publiques (IPP), the Program Director of the research group “Democracy and Institutions” at the IPP in Paris, and a Fellow at the CESifo.
His research interests include public economics, political economy, European integration, and banking regulation. His research has been published in peer review journals such as the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and Econometrica.

Franck Malherbet is professor of economics at ENSAE Paris, researcher at CREST (the joint research department from ENSAE, CNRS and Ecole Polytechnique) and research fellow at IZA. He holds a PhD in Economics from University Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne.
His research fields are labor economics and macroeconomics with a special concern for employment protection and labor market segmentation. He is also interested in bargaining theory and development economics.
His research has been published in the European Economic Review, Journal of Public Economics, International Economic Review, The Economic Journal and others.
